Recreating Du Maurier's style in lino print. I think the translation of engraving to the different form of printing on lino has worked well. The image still has a look of the traditional printing methods, I think this with the reinterpretation of Barton pictured within an educational scene, will translate well into the overall theme of representing the working-class in upper class forms. The print is just under A4 in size and took around two hours to draw, cut and print. |
