The Condition of the working-class

 After doing further research on slum communities and housing within the 19th century, I think the theme of the condition of the working classes in Gaskell's Mary Barton would be more appropriate than just solely slum housing. This way both the lives of the Barton's and the Davenports can be explored instead of just the families in the slums.
