Promotion on Instagram. 
The difference between the work created for the North and South range and the work I have created for Mary Barton explores how accessible print can be when presenting history. The prints of North and South are aimed for an audience that do not necessarily come to the house for the representation of the working classes, they explore the more romantic sides of the novel, despite this they are still connecting the public to an important part of history. The prints created for Mary Barton provide a deeper more analytical representation of Gaskell's work but are still familiar enough for the public to understand and enjoy. All the work I have created are intended as a stepping stone into both history and literature.
